FUNDRAISING
Each season our teams collaborate together and participate in fundraisers. The more teams and players who participate, the more money teams and players can earn for themselves. Below are the most popular fundraisers listed that we offer to players within the Academy. Other fundraisers may include pancake breakfasts, car washes, BWW night or Chipotle night, or other business partnerships that offer fundraising opportunities in the area.
DISCOUNT CARDS
Sell Discount Card for $20 and you keep $10 per card! On the back there are 18 different local businesses for people to shop, eat, or for family entertainment, each of which offer discounts.
BRAX CUPS
Sell BRAX Cups for $18 per set, and keep $6 for yourself! These come with every NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA and NCAA team you can imagine, and also offer seasonal designs as well as Military Service Cups for our Veterans. This is a favorite and they are high quality cups!
CLARA CLARK BED SHEETS
These 1800 count fabric bed sheets are the most comfortable sheets you'll ever sleep on! They are high quality and typically sell for $30 to $45 per set. Our price is $20, so everything over that is yours!
STATE FARM REFERRAL PROGRAM
Provide up to 20 names for Agent Matt Davidson to contact for a quote, and receive $5 per name that answers the phone and takes a quote.
Referrals MUST:
- Be insurable (able to obtain insurance)
- Live in Kansas or Missouri
- Answer the phone and be given a quote!
Referrals SHOULD:
- NOT already have State Farm Insurance
- Expect a call from Matt with your notice
- Be willing to take the call and receive a quote
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, Kansas, hosts the annual Digital-Ally Open Golf Tournament, held year around the beginning of August. This is Kansas City’s Only PGA TOUR Sanctioned Event for amateurs and pros who want to join in the fun.
100% of proceeds from weekly and grounds passes will benefit our kids when you or someone you know plays at this event. All you have to do, is visit www.digitalallyopen.org, and during registration for your passes, just select our affiliate organization (KC Sluggers), and the money will be sent to the KC Sluggers and allocated to our players.
TRASH BAG FUNDRAISER
Every year our club participates in the Trash Bag fundraiser through Frontier Bag, Inc. Everyone uses trash bags, and Frontier Bags are higher quality than you'll find at the local stores, at a reduced rate. Most of the bags come in bundles of $12 for one roll, or $20 for two rolls plus $10 for each additional roll. Everything over $7 per roll is profit to each player, with most players averaging $3 to $5 per roll in profit.
YANKEE CANDLE FUNDRAISER
Yankee Candles are a holiday favorite, and items range from $10 to $40 for most candle packages. Every item you sell earns you 40%. Sell $100 worth of items, earn $40!
